ARAS

ARAS (Alternating Rotors for Acoustic Stealth) is a concept to disrupt the UAV's acoustic signature detection by deliberate rotor-diameter variation. The variation between rotors is minimal but enough to make the acoustic signature more complex and confuse detection algorithms. Therefore, detection systems spend more time to figure out the signature and this increases the success rate of UAV operations.
