FOMUS PROTOTYPE DEMO:

FOMUS (Fiber-Optic Multi UAV System) consists of a Relay UAV and one or multiple Operator UAVs. The Relay UAV functions as a communication link between Operator UAV and drone controller. The Relay UAV provides a wireless link to a drone controller and the game-changing mobile fiber-optic link to the Operator UAV.

Traditional fiber-optic drone solutions sticks with fixed and immobile fiber connection between drone controller and Operator UAV. With FOMUS both endpoints of the fiber become mobile. Therefore, the Operator UAV is going to have the jam-proof data connection where it is needed - which is a huge strategic advance.
